Rex Volta is the owner and founding editor of Redlight Codex, affiliated with PicksLab and Thrasosoft. He currently works on adult-game projects and brings professional experience in full-stack software, Unity development, and connected-device integration. He has personally played dozens of games in the category and tests devices as both a user and a developer.

His coverage focuses on the questions product pages often skip: how the experience feels, how closely a connected device follows the scene, how much setup it demands, which claims survive direct testing, and how the software works.

He also leads development of Eros Relay, the local-first compatibility project growing out of the Codex’s device research.
